How to choose a DAC or AOC cable

DAC cable, but up to 5 meters. For longer connections, an Active Optical Direct Attach Cable (AOC) connection is required. Therefore, in this case the device side uses a DAC cable for a shorter distance.
The difference between DAC and AOC cables is that the cost of DAC is lower, while AOC can be bent at a larger angle and weighs less. It is more convenient for cable management and storage, and is not affected by electromagnetic waves.
